Bryan Ruiz says he intends to be a regular scorer from Fulham's midfield this season.

In scoring goals to remember against Everton and Bolton last term, it appears Ruiz has a penchant for the spectacular.

"As a player that plays further up the pitch, it is one of my responsibilities to help in that area," he told fulhamfc.com. "Whether that is through assists or scoring goals, that's what I am here to do.

"It's nice to score goals like that, but at the end of the day, it doesn't matter how they go in. It would be nice to score a few more as the new season progresses though and that's something that I know that I am capable of doing."
