West Bromwich Albion captain Chris Brunt is closing on a return but is not expecting to slide straight back in to the first team.
The Northern Ireland midfielder has been sidelined with a fractured ankle since New Year's Day and even though he is not far away from playing again, he is well aware that getting back into the Baggies line-up will be a task in itself.
"If we keep playing like we did against Wolves (5-1 win on February 12) I'll have a job on my hands getting back in the team.
"It was such a good performance by everyone it would be hard to change anyone in the team.
"That's the way it should be at a football club. There should be competition for places.
"We don't have many injuries, we have good competition for places, and that means everyone has got to be on their toes.""I definitely don't expect to walk straight back in - no way," he said.
