West Brom midfielder Chris Brunt has hailed the quality of Rickie Lambert.
The former Southampton and Liverpool striker broke his competitive duck for the Baggies on Saturday from the penalty spot.
"I was delighted for Rickie," said Brunt. “He comes in and works very hard.
“He's said he is disappointed not scoring but obviously he hasn't had a lot of time on the pitch to do that.
“He trains very well, he's a fantastic finisher, as good as I've seen at the club since I've been here.
“If you give him a chance he'll score a goal so hopefully that will give him a bit of a confidence boost going into the rest of the season."
