Napoli signing Bruno Uvini has revealed former AC Milan defender Thiago Silva urged him to move to Serie A.

Uvini joined Napoli just as Thiago Silva left Italy for PSG.

"Thiago Silva suggested Italy," the 21-year-old stated. "This is a place where you learn the tricks of the trade to become a great defender.

"I want to learn and play football at the highest levels and I thus believe that Napoli is the right place for me to do this."
