Despite defeat to Stoke City, Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is happy with the way his team is shaping up.
And he insists replacing Aston Villa signing Darren Bent isn't proving to be as big a headache as expected.
"We look as if we are shaping up quite well and you can already see Muntari will be a big player for us. So will Sessègnon, who I also thought did very well.
"Some of our movement and forward play was terrific but we've lost to a couple of bog-standard balls into our box and that wipes away any of the good things that come before it.
"Since Darren has left we've scored six goals (in three games), four away from home. We're delighted with the two additions we've got because they will add to the squad. It's up to me to find a new Darren Bent. But I have to say that the forward end of the pitch does not look to be a problem for us at the moment. If we don't defend properly, though, it doesn't matter. In the last week we haven't done our jobs properly.
"We gave bad goals away against Chelsea, and more bad goals at Stoke. That's cost us."
