Former Manchester United defender Steve Bruce gives his view of the departure of Louis van Gaal and the expected arrival of Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.
"I'm sure they'll be disappointed again how it's been handled," the Hull boss says. "But then again football is a changing world and the one thing about managers now is we get used to getting the sack unfortunately.
"I think that's 60 [managers sacked] in a season not finished yet. If we get beaten on Saturday it might be 61..."
"There's this thing in football where there's a roundabout and that these managers just get back on - they don't," he added.
"The fall-out is pretty horrendous but unfortunately it seems to be common now. The lifespan of a manager is 13-14 months, which is ludicrous isn't it?"
