Hull City boss Steve Bruce is delighted with their first-half of the season.

Bruce takes his side to Liverpool today.

He said: ''We are in a fantastic position in the league thanks to the efforts of the current squad.

"There has been a real hunger about the boys here and they are fighting so hard for each other.

"But if there is anybody out there who I think can substantially improve us, then I will ask the question."
