Hull City boss Steve Bruce admits it is a great thrill to commit himself to the club.
The Tigers announced on Wednesday that Bruce will put pen to a new contract in the next day or so and the 54-year old is over the moon to have sorted his future ahead of the season run-in which will define the Premier League status at the KC Stadium.
"I am delighted to have committed my future to the club. We have achieved a lot in the few years we have been here but this is just the beginning of the journey," Bruce told the club's official website.
"Premier League survival is now crucial for us at this time, as is improving our training facility, as we look to continue to grow and become a solid, well-run Premier League club.
"I would like to thank the owners for their continued support as well as the fans. We have had the supporters backing since we arrived here in Hull and long may that continue."
