Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is fuming over the praise coming Darren Bent's way.
Bruce feels the plaudits handed to the Aston Villa striker are coming at Sunderland' expense.
He rapped: "Bent kept us where we were in the division last season with his goals. Now he's played two games for Villa, they're saying he's a new player.
"I can't go along with that. As far as accusations go that we're too direct, I watched us against Stoke last week and we were not direct then, nor against Chelsea in the game before that."
