Hull City boss Phil Brown wants Dean Marney to prove to Tottenham today they were wrong to let him go.
"Dean was a player who left Tottenham two years ago and hadn't reached his potential," Brown told the Hull Daily Mail. "He wasn't seeing chances at Tottenham so he decided to go and ply his trade in the Championship.
"When I first arrived here I couldn't understand why he was playing at that level. The lad has got great technical ability and an engine second to none.
"He can cover the ground with pace, he's got the ability to see a pass and, hopefully, all of that will come to fruition tomorrow against his former club."
