Brown urges Sunderland to make most of next four games

Sunderland defender Wes Brown is looking to the club's next four matches as an opportunity to pick-up some vital points. The Wearsiders will take on bottom-half sides Fulham, Wigan, Wolves and Blackburn - having already played Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.

"It's a chance to pick up points," Brown told BBC Newcastle.

"We know what we can do and we need to click now. We want to prove to everybody that we're a good team."

Home form has been a concern for Sunderland this season, with only one win - against Stoke in September - so far.

"It's not pressure, we just want to do well," said the 32-year-old, who has been an ever-present with 12 appearances since his summer move from Manchester United.

"Our fans are there, we want to win convincingly and hopefully we can just do that.

"We all have to step up. If people are looking a bit worried we've got to calm them down.

"We've got a good bunch of lads who can help the quieter lads and the younger lads."
