Aberdeen boss Craig Brown insists he will remain patient on goalkeeper Jamie Langfield after he suffered a seizure earlier this week.
The Dons number one gloveman was admitted to hospital on Monday and released yesterday but Brown says that the 31-year old can have as much time as he likes to recover.
"Jamie is going home, which is great news after such a worrying situation," Brown told the Daily Record.
"The medical people have said he can walk and jog for the next few weeks but contact activities are forbidden. He cannot dive in case he suffers an injury.
"I will sit down with Jamie and discuss his fitness but I will wait until he decides what his plans are for the new season.
"His health is the overriding priority and he won't be back in action until he is 100 per cent.
"But the fact he is allowed out of hospital after just a few days is a positive sign and everyone at the club is relieved."
