Sunderland defender Wes Brown is hoping the side can kick-on from their 2-0 away win over Bolton on the weekend.
The Black Cats moved up to 14th courtesy of the result and now Brown is looking to back that up with a positive performance against Aston Villa in the comforts of the Stadium of Light.
"We have a good chance to build on the Bolton result now," Brown told Sunderland's official website.
"We've been playing well and we'll definitely be going into the game looking to win it - hopefully that'll be the case.
"They definitely have a good squad and have plenty of players who can hurt teams. But we are at home and we want to improve our record there. That's something we can do this Saturday."
