Hull boss Phil Brown believes last season's successful battle against relegation will stand the Tigers in good stead this time around. Although Brown would rather not be in another relegation scrap, he believes that as his players will have an insight into what lies ahead.
Hull are currently just a point above third-from-bottom Bolton knowing they can ill-afford another defeat to relegation rivals West Ham on Saturday.
"The experience we have from last year stands us in good stead," Brown told the Hull Daily Mail.
"People talk about the top end of the division and how Manchester United are in a good position because of the experience they have stands them in good stead.
"It's the same at the bottom half of the division and if you've got players who have been through it before, it can only be a positive.
