Hull City boss Phil Brown is a dead man walking, it has been revealed.
The Daily Mail says Brown will be axed as manager of Hull City, even if he launches a turnaround in the club's fortunes with a win against Burnley tomorrow.
Brown's last chance of survival disappeared yesterday following the departure of his ally and chairman Paul Duffen, who is being replaced by former Hull owner Adam Pearson.
Although Brown held a meeting with owner Russell Bartlett and was told that results must improve, it would appear that his fate has already been sealed.
Pearson, who left Derby County earlier this week and will start work at the KC Stadium on Monday morning, appointed Brown in January 2007 but is said to want a change of manager before the team's plight worsens.
