Brown doesn't want Cesc issue distracting Hull

Hull City boss Phil Brown is determined not to have their row with Arsenal and Cesc Fabregas to be a distraction in their battle against the drop.

He told the Hull Daily Mail: "I've been given no indication of how long this will take, I've kept away from it as much as I possibly can.

"I've got enough to focus on with these eight games. My players need me right now and I need them.

"We really just want the truth to come out. If the truth comes out then we've got nothing to worry about."

He added: "My evidence has gone in, Brian Horton's evidence has gone in and Sean Rush's evidence has as well.<> "That's all that's been necessary as regards to us up to now. There's an independent solicitor representing us and hopefully there will be no bias towards any one club. I'd very surprised if there were any charges levelled at anyone from Hull City, in fact I'd be absolutely amazed.

"I don't want to influence anyone within the FA because the enquiry is ongoing and the statements have been made."
