Wes Brown admits he's enjoying being more involved with Manchester United this season.
With skipper Gary Neville sidelined since March, the England international has been a virtual ever-present at right-back this season.
For a player who has become so accustomed to filling in when required, it has been a refreshing change for Brown to spend so much time in one position.
"It has been a lot easier in that sense," he said.
"You get used to doing one job and you understand it more."
Brown has also been able to show off some previously unseen attacking instincts, although he freely admits he is very much a support player to the main man on United's right-flank, FIFA world player of the year contender Cristiano Ronaldo.
"I just try to get involved a bit and help out," he laughed.
"It is quite enjoyable but basically I know I just need to be there in case Ronny can't take everyone on and score."
