The agent of Jeremy Menez says he wants to stay with AC Milan.

The Frenchman has been impressive in a struggling team this season.

"These things get said in the media, or by former players," brother and agent Kevin Menez told Foot Mercato.

"Jeremy is used to it, he knows how it goes. We must accept criticism, because it's part of the game, but I think every Coach would like to have a 16 goal 'problem'.

"[Coach] Pippo [Inzaghi] has always defended him. People say he is individualistic, but he is the second-best passer at the club, as well as being top-scorer.

"He's done what he has to do, even if you can always do better.

"It's easy to point to Jeremy as a problem but, like I say, I think a lot of Coaches would enjoy having a problem with 16 goals."
