Palace are lining up a move for Ivory Coast international Bonaventure Kalou – brother of Chelsea striker Salomon.
Eagles boss Neil Warnock has handed a trial to the 31-year-old, who currently plays for Dutch Cup holders Heerenveen. Kalou has 51 caps and played for Feyenoord, Auxerre, Paris St Germain and Lens after leaving local club Asec Mimosas.
The versatile striker can also operate on the wing or in midfield. Heerenveen will let him leave on a free transfer, and French club Le Mans are on his trail as well.
Kalou has nine siblings - kid brother Salomon, 24, and eight sisters.
