The brother of Gonzalo Higuain says Arsenal are in the boxseat to sign the Real Madrid striker.

Juventus and Napoli have also been linked with the Argentine, but Nicolas Higuain admits a move to Arsenal is all but agreed.

"Higuain is in my opinion closer to Arsenal," said Nicolas Higuain, the brother and agent of the striker, to TMW.

"Juventus is a great club, but Gonzalo is too expensive for them.

"Napoli is a strong team and has a special meaning for Argentines. But again I cannot deny Arsenal are best placed."
