Brosque scores winner as Al-Ain edge Al Rayyan

Alex Brosque scored a second-half winner as UAE outfit Al-Ain beat Qatari club Al Rayyan 2-1 in the Asian Champions League.

The Australian international netted in the 70th minute to complete a solid fightback from Al-Ain who conceded to Al Rayyan's Nilmar just after the half-hour mark.

Jires Kembo-Ekoko levelled for the UAE club two minutes after the opening goal before Brosque struck in the 70th minute.

The win allowed Al-Ain to move to second on the Group D table with six points from three matches, one point behind Esteghlal, three clear of third-placed Al-Hilal and five ahead of Al Rayyan.
