Brosque impressed by Sydney trialist Cazarine

Sydney FC striker Alex Brosque has been impressed by trialist Bruno Cazarine this week.

The Brazilian attacker is training with the Sky Blues as head coach Vitezslav Lavicka casts a watchful eye over him in the hope of signing him to strengthen the clubs goalscoring options.

Brosque, currently sidelined by an ankle injury, admitted what he had seen of the 27-year old former Palmeiras ace was very positive.

''I saw a little bit of him at training this week and he looked pretty good to me,'' said Brosque. ''We haven't done too much game-related stuff so far but we saw him do some one-on-one finishing with Vitja (Lavicka) and he seemed sharp.

''He was good with both feet and in the air he was very strong as well. He's got more of a presence in terms of size than what we have and that's what we want - someone a bit bigger who can play as a target. It's still early days on making a complete judgment but he seems to be a good player and hopefully what we're looking for.''
