Sydney FC has signed star midfielder Alex Brosque for a further two years. Brosque knocked back more lucrative offers to remain with the Sky Blues and is looking to a successful future with the club. "It's not always about the money I guess, there's a lot of factors you've got to take into account before you sign a contract," he said. "I think with the squad that we've got and the ambition that the club's got, especially with the new clubs coming in, I want to be involved in a club that's already stable and is really going to challenge for honours in the next couple of years." The 25-year old will be contracted with Sydney until April 2011 and expects some of his out of contract team mates to follow suit. "I think Sydney's done very well by first of all attracting the names that they've been able to bring this year, and if they can resign most of the players coming off contract we're going to be a real force in the years to come. I think the signs look really good for the club."
