Liverpool U23 won the mini derby 2-0 against Everton yesterday.
Everton boss Ronald Koeman was sat with director of football Steve Walsh and Duncan Ferguson as the Blues's second string went down to goals from Brooks Lennon and Harry Wilson.
Lennon opened the scoring just after the restart when he headed home Joe Maguire's cross.
Wilson doubled the advantage, and sealed Everton's fate, when he drove a low strike past Mateusz Hewelt on 77 minutes after the Blues failed to deal with a corner.
