Brondby on brink of amazing swoop for Liverpool defender Agger

Brondby are in line to pull off a stunning deal for Liverpool defender Dan Agger.

The Daily Mail says Agger looks set to return to his former club Brondby in Denmark for £3m with the Liverpool defender currently in talks with his former club.

Brendan Rodgers has sidelined the Danish international, who hasn't featured for Liverpool thus far this season following the arrival of Dejan Lovren from Southampton this summer.

Agger signed for Liverpool from Brondby in 2006 and looks close to be sealing a return home having made 212 appearances for the Merseyside club.
