Former AC Milan midfielder Cristian Brocchi is delighted with his move to Lazio.

"I chose Lazio because they have repeatedly expressed their willingness to sign me," said Brocchi. "At Milan I had the respect of everyone, but I chose to try new ideas and new emotions.

"I'm ready to have two or three years of great things here: this is my first goal. At Lazio, I want to show all my strength. Since I've been here I've found an excellent squad. Everyone is sincere.

"In the beginning I was afraid of not settling in, but after a few days I have found the right understanding with my teammates: laughter, jokes, but also hard work.

"We are a good squad, there are players of great quality here."
