Brocchi admits boos hurt AC Milan players

After victory over Cagliari last night, AC Milan midfielder Cristian Brocchi admitted the players had been hurt by the booing of fans in recent weeks.

He said: "We were disappointed because after all that we have won over the last six years, sometimes we need a pat on the back instead of boos. Though, I understand when the fans express their disappointment when it sees the away goals or the team plays badly.

"But the feeling with our supporters has always been, and will always be that they always give us a big hand."
