Broadfoot sees plenty of team spirit at Rangers

Kirk Broadfoot believes Rangers' victory over Aberdeen with an injury ravaged squad is a sign of character in Walter Smith's squad. The Scottish champions headed into the clash at Ibrox with so many injury problems, manager Walter Smith was unable to name a full bench.

Yet Rangers were still able to produce a convincing 2-0 win.

"It says a lot about the character," said Broadfoot.

"I don't think it's physical, it's more mental because it seems to be game after game after game. At a club like Rangers the demands are that you need to win every game.

"But I think we've got big enough characters in the dressing room, big players and experienced players, who can get us through it.

"We are going through a lot of games just now but if we come through this with mostly wins I think we will be okay come the end of the season."
