Kirk Broadfoot insists the Rangers players are not being distracted by the takeover talk surrounding the club. The debt-ridden Scottish champions are subject of takeover interest from tycoon Craig Whyte, who confirmed on Thursday that he is considering making an offer.
But Broadfoot insists Walter Smith's squad are simply focused on matters on the pitch as they seek to maintain their good start to the campaign.
The defender said: "There has been nothing said about it.
"To be fair, we have seen all this before and it has come and gone. To be honest, we just get on with playing.
"If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it's no skin off our noses.
"If it does happen, it can only be good for the football club. But it's nothing to do with us, we just get on with playing.
"It doesn't really affect the players, we just go out to do a job on the pitch."
