Leon Britton says its critical for Swansea City they keep Joe Allen.

Allen has been linked with Liverpool.

The midfield pair both penned new deals earlier this season, he told The Sun: "I am 29 and I'm not leaving. Joe's 22 though. It's vital he stays because he is such an important part of the team.

"If the club want to keep growing then obviously we need him."
