British PM Cameron urges Arsenal captain Cesc to ignore Barcelona

British PM David Cameron has urged Cesc Fabregas to stay with Arsenal.

Cameron is well aware of Barcelona's pursuit of the Gunners captain.

Speaking at an event attended by Fabregas, Spain's Prime Minister Jose Luis Zapatero and a host of children from the Street League football organisation at 10 Downing Street, the PM joked about the 24-year-old.

After the leaders discussed tourism, he said: "We're now going to see Cesc Fabregas - one Spanish tourist who I hope isn't returning to Spain."

Fabregas added: "I am delighted that the FA and staff at Downing Street have chosen Street League as one of their partner charities this year."
