The 25-year-old, who plays for Egyptian champions Al-Ahli, is a reported target of the Robins and his representative, Ahmed Rifai, claims a transfer fee has been agreed.
"Ahli have finally agreed on the instalments method," Rifai told FilGoal.com. "Bristol will pay half the amount now and the rest in January 2009.
"Emad shall fly to London as soon as he acquires a visa."
