Bristol City boss Derek McInnes is desperate to reinforce his squad in a bid to avoid relegation from the Championship, having lost four of their last five games. He told the Bristol Evening Post: "We cannot put what is happening down to not enjoying the rub of the green, it's a lot more than that. I feel we need to bring one or two in and the injection those new players would give us would definitely help.

"We'll continue to work hard to bring in one or two players because it is too important for us not to do that. I've let a few players go and sent a few more out on loan to make way for newcomers.

"I want to add a couple of players and bring a freshness to it all, because I think it will help the other players."
