Bristol City have placed a sizeable £2million offer for Sheffield Wednesday defender Tom Lees.

Bristol are currently looking to sign a new defender and have identified 24-year old Lees as their main target.

Now according to the Daily Mail, the promoted Robins have ramped up their pursuit of Lees by placing a bid of around £2m for the Owls star.

Lees is also attracting the interest of QPR, Hull City and Fulham.
