Bristol City manager Derek McInnes is reportedly showing interest in Heart of Midlothian goalkeeper Jamie MacDonald.
The Robins are on the hunt for a new gloveman after releasing 41-year old veteran David James at the end of the recently-completed season and McInnes sees MacDonald as a good choice to provide competition for current number one Dean Gerken.
26-year old MacDonald, who helped Hearts clinch the Scottish Cup title on the weekend, signed a two-year deal with the Edinburgh club in January and after establishing himself as the Tynecastle number one may be reluctant to leave.
