Bristol City chairman Colin Sexstone is annoyed at North Somerset Council's decision to reject a planning permission application from the club. The application, which referred to the building of an access road to the new stadium - and not the stadium itself - was discussed at a meeting of the Council on Wednesday.
Sexstone told the club's official website: "It was clearly biased and decisions had been made a long time before the meeting.
"They ignored their own officers' advice and the advice of independent experts. They even questioned the environmental agency."
He added: "I also felt the chair (Bob Cook) had no control over the committee. On top of that his comments were insulting to Bristol City Football Club and its thousands of supporters."
