Bristol City boss Derek McInnes has confirmed they're signing West Ham United striker Sam Baldock.

Baldock was in the stands for last night's win over Crystal Palace after completing a reported £1million move as his new team-mates demonstrated their own attacking threat.

"I'm so pleased to have signed Sam Baldock because I believe he will add sharpness to our attack and keep opposing centre-backs occupied," said the manager.

"He can link the play, but his best work is done on the move and he is capable of teaming up effectively with different types of strike partners."
