Bristol City boss Steve Cotterill admits a deal for Crystal Palace striker Dwight Gayle is off.

Gayle has rejected the Robins with Norwich and Fulham also keen.

The Eagles accepted a £6m bid from the Championship side – rising up to a potential £8m with add-ons.

But Cotterill revealed: “He has made it clear he does not want to come, so we have to move on."
