New Bristol City boss Steve Coppell is chasing Stoke City striker Dave Kitson.
Kitson is Coppell's first target as Bristol City manager.
Striker Kitson, 30, was part of the Reading team Coppell led into the Premier League in 2006 before a £5.5million switch to the Britannia.
