Brisbane to welcome back Reinaldo

Brisbane Roar will welcome back flamboyant striker Reinaldo to their line-up for Friday night's clash with Adelaide United.

The Brazilian goalscorer was forced out of last week's 1-1 draw with the Newcastle Jets because of a hamstring strain but is almost a certain to start against the team he has a great record against.

"It's feeling very good today at training and I'm ready to play against Adelaide on Friday night," he said.

"I have already scored some goals (against Adelaide) and I think at this moment I have to try to score again because we have to start to win games."

Reinaldo admitted that the Roar needed to improve sharply to climb back up the A-League table and said the players took some confidence out of their clash with the Jets last Friday after losing four in a row prior to that.

"At this stage we have been playing well but we have lost four games and drew the last the last one against Newcastle and we have to start to win to get the confidence back," he added.

"We have been struggling in the last games but we have a good team to change this position.

"We have been training very well and the coach has (brought) a lot of confidence to us. We just have to put into practice what we train here."

Brisbane Roar's match against Adelaide United kicks off at 7pm (AEST), Friday and will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 2.
