Brisbane Roar striker Sergio van Dijk is eyeing a move to play in Indonesia. The Dutchman, who has Indonesian background, is keen to make the move and has targeted Sriwijaya as the club he would like to play for.
van Dijk stated his intent by sending an e-mail to Sriwijaya coach Rahmad Darmawan.
"Nothing is official yet," Darmawan told Antara.
"It's just like an unofficial letter of intention."p> Darmawan stated that he would love to have van Dijk at his club after showing such brilliant form as a goal scorer in the A-League last season.
"He's not just a striker. He's the A-League's top scorer. It won't be cheap to recruit him from the Brisbane Roar," he added.
"There are many things to consider. The most important would be his transfer fee, and would he be happy to be paid according to our standards?
"But if his price is equal to three good local strikers or foreign players from another country, then I think I will say no."
