Brisbane Roar midfielder Adam Sarota is eyeing a win in the last game of the home and away season against Perth Glory so the team can go out on a high.
The Roar's finals chances were put to bed on the weekend when they lost to bottom-of-the table Adelaide United 2-0 and the intention now is to save face by winning their Round 27 clash in Perth.
"We were pretty disappointed we lost to Adelaide," the 21 year-old said.
"(And) it's the last game of the season so hopefully we can end it with a win.
"Our goal is to win the last game of the season, because that's all we have left to fight for.
"We're defiantly going to be putting the effort in, not just going through the motions.
"We're definitely going out there not to lose."
Despite a poor season in terms of the team, Sarota has been content with the progress he has made this year and is keen to cap it off with a solid performance against the Glory.
"I've made a couple of starts this year, but hopefully I can just get better and better," Sarota added.
"I wasn't happy with my performance last week, so hopefully against Perth it becomes better."
