Thomas Broich is eager to exact revenge on Manchester United.
The Brisbane Roar midfielder was a keen Bayern Munich supporter back in 1999 when the Red Devils downed the Bavarian side in the UEFA Champions League final in Barcelona and now he wants to get one back on the English club when he represents the A-League All-Stars next month.
"It was devastating," the former Borussia Monchengladbach, FC Cologne and FC Nuremberg man said.
"I'm a Bayern supporter and back in 1999 we had to suffer a terrible defeat."
He added: "I've always looked up to that team and, for a few years, they were the top team in the whole world.
"But I'm not nervous, I'm really excited about it.
"It's an honour to be a part of this."
