Brisbane Roar's Rocky Visconte wants to make more of an impact after coming on to score a late winner last week.
The former Heart of Midlothian winger managed to sneak through a very late goal against the Perth glory last Sunday to give his side a 2-1 win and he plans to make a habit of scoring crucial goals as he becomes a regular first team player.
"Coming off the bench, you always want to do something good, I always look up to the clock to see how much longer I've got to get a goal or create something," he told Roar's official website.
"I started getting into the squad first, then I got my chance on the bench, and now the next step is trying to get into the starting eleven and hopefully with the more chances I get, I do get to that stage."
This weekend is a week off for the A-League (besides the Melbourne derby) because of a FIFA international break but the Roar resume next week with a home game against the Newcastle Jets which Visconte plans to be involved in.
"Hopefully if I do get on the bench then and get some game time, I'll keep trying to do my best and create chances and put another goal away," he added.
