Brisbane Roar signing Shane Stefanutto is close to a comeback from a broken leg which he sustained whilst playing with the North Queensland Fury last season.
The 30-year old left-back recently signed a three-year deal with the Roar and is training hard to get back to full fitness with his new club and is keeping his fingers crossed that he can get himself up for Everton's down under tour in July.
"I'm targeting that game because it's probably the biggest game for us in the pre-season," he said on Thursday.
"It will be nine months (since surgery) on July 10 ... and the surgeons have said to wait for nine months so I'd hope to be ready to go by then."
