Reigning A-League champions and 2012 AFC Champions League qualifiers Brisbane Roar are giving a trial to Bahrain defender Sayed Mohamed Adnan, reports the official AFC website. According to the Courier Mail, the 28-year-old has arrived Queensland looking for a fresh challenge after leaving Qatar club Al Khor, where the 2009 AFC Player of the Year nominee made over 100 appearances.
"He came to the club looking for a change and we're happy to give him a chance," Roar coach Ange Postecoglou explained.
Postecoglou is reportedly keen to bolster his back line following the departures of central defender Luke DeVere, who joined South Korean outfit Gyeongnam in January and fellow stopper Milan Susak, who joined signed for Minangkabau.
