Brisbane Roar have given up a two-goal lead, only to score a late winner against the Central Coast Mariners.

Brisbane Roar: 3 (Tommy Oar ’10, Sergio van Dijk ’23, Matt McKay ‘90+1)

In an exciting first half, the Roar took an lead early when Tommy Oar struck in the 10th minute before star striker Sergio van Dijk made it 2-0 in the 23rd.

It looked like it would be all one-way traffic but the Mariners hit back through Englishman Nicky Travis ten minutes before half-time.

The Mariners pressed forward in the second half and got an equaliser through Dylan Macallister just under 15minutes from time but Matt McKay chimed in with an injury time winner.

The three points from the win enables the Roar to jump to fourth on the table whilst the Mariners dropped to sixth.
