Brisbane Roar assistant coach Rado Vidosic has hailed the North Queensland Fury for luring a player of Robbie Fowler's status to the A-League.
With the former Liverpool man set to feature in his first match for his new club next month against the Roar in Mackay, Vidosic took the opportunity to share his thoughts on the potential of the signing.
"It'll be interesting to see Fowler up against Craig Moore," Vidosic said yesterday.
"I think it's fantastic that they've brought Fowler to Australia.
"With his experience and his goal-scoring ability I'll be surprised if he's not the highest goal scorer in the A-League this season.
"He's a great buy for them; he has such a goal-scoring ability that they'll win games with him.
"I see him as a positive, not just for the Fury but also for the A-League. We're looking forward to seeing him in action."
