Brill leaves Luton for permanent Inverness deal

Dean Brill has signed a permanent contract with Inverness Caledonian Thistle the club has announced.

On the same day that Caley lost manager Terry Butcher to Hibernian, the Highlands outfit have been able to secure the services of the 27-year old goalkeeper from Conference Premier side Luton Town until at least 2017.

Brill initially joined Inverness in July with his deal running until January but he has opted to depart Kenilworth Road to remain permanently at Caledonian Stadium.

"Discussions with Dean and Luton have been on-going but they have now been brought to a highly satisfactory conclusion," said Caley chairman Kenny Cameron.

"Luton have cancelled the remainder of his two-year contract which was due to expire next summer.

"That has cleared the way for us to reach agreement with Dean and I am extremely pleased that he has signed a three-and-a-half year contract with us."
