Brighton winger Jamie Murphy is delighted over his move to Rangers.

Murphy admitted joining Rangers would fulfil a boyhood dream after he arrived in Glasgow to finalise a £1 million-plus move from Brighton.

Speaking at Glasgow Airport, lifelong Rangers fan Murphy said he had known about the interest for "a while".

"It's not all been done yet but it's good to be home," he added.

"What brought me back to Scotland? Rangers are the club I supported as a boy and the club I still support now.

"It's been a good season so far but there are always ways to improve. Hopefully we get the medical through and see what happens."
